So, who’s teaching this class, anyway?

Delores Tronco is the founder, owner, and sommelier at The Greenwich. While living in New York City in 2018, Tronco realized that her wine knowledge left something to be desired and enrolled in classes at the International Wine Center, located near Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

Tronco is passionate about making wine affordable and accessible to all who are interested, as opposed to something pretentious or difficult to understand. She teaches through simple language, relatable analogies, and most importantly, a great sense of humor.

Some of Tronco’s favorite wine regions and varietals are cool-climate pinot noirs (i.e. Willamette Valley, Burgundy, Austria), German & Alsatian Rieslings, Vouvray & Savennières, and well-aged Spanish tempranillos.
